If you are okay with zooming a 360p video in, you could get direct links to the video lifes via one of the many "Online YouTube Downloader" sites that are available online. It is certainly 'one way' to get around the cookies and ads... ;)
Or just use those to download the videos you know you're going to watch until the end anyway.
